Meet Zoan

I'm Zoan Elizalde-Mancenido, and I'm honored to join the CCS Education & Wellness team. Currently a graduate student at the University of Kentucky, I'm an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), working towards becoming a licensed clinical social worker.

With a bachelor’s degree in social work from CSU Sacramento and over ten years of diverse behavioral health experience, I've found my calling in supporting parents and children. As a foster parent, I gained valuable insights into the care system, emphasizing the importance of empathy and effective advocacy. This journey led me to become a Behavioral Health Peer Specialist at RUHS-BH, Riverside County. Here, I collaborate with families, therapists, and teachers, empowering parents and fostering positive change in the lives of our clients.

Beyond my professional life, I cherish moments spent exploring hiking trails, trying new restaurants, and having lively game nights with my husband, son, nieces, and nephews.

I look forward to contributing my skills and passion to the CCS team, making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
