Meet Miquelle

Hello! My name is Miquelle McCarthy, and I am currently a student therapist at Central Counseling Services. I am pursuing my Master of Social Work at Walden University, building on my passion for helping individuals and families navigate life's complexities.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and an associate degree in Psychology from Santa Monica Community College. My academic journey has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and valuable support.

In my previous role as a Case Manager Intern at Bold Recovery LLC, I worked closely with individuals reintegrating after incarceration, facilitating their access to resources such as employment, housing, and mental health services. Additionally, my background as a childcare provider allowed me to work with children of various ages, focusing on fostering their development and collaborating with families to support their educational needs.

I believe in the power of empathy and communication in building strong relationships with my clients. My approach is collaborative, and I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions and challenges. Together, we will work towards your goals, drawing on your strengths and unique experiences.

I am also devoted to continuous professional development to ensure I have the latest tools and techniques to support your journey. I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate life's challenges and celebrate your successes. Let's work together to create a path toward healing, growth, and resilience.
