Hi, my name is Mark. I am completing a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide, and I am excited to join the CCS team. I am a parent of three who are now in their twenties, and I have experience as a family and parent coach. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
Whatever you are facing has personal aspects that are unique to you. In a safe environment many supports and solutions can be brought to the surface naturally through an affirming, empowering perspective. I lean toward strengths-based, humanistic perspectives and therapy solutions that can support you in your own natural abilities and preferences. I am eager to help individuals, couples and families get to the root of complex personal and interpersonal issues, to encourage lasting, meaningful change.
This includes consideration for all the big and little things that make us different - gender, race, faith, age, cultural background, ability, temperament, and more. In a post-pandemic world, perspectives on identity, culture and meaning are rapidly-evolving. I look forward to helping clients, through a combination of cutting-edge therapies and my own perspective which is naturally accepting, positive and hopeful.
I am always learning and growing, and I want to get to know you and support you. I look forward to working with you.
