Meet Gladys Pulido

Gladys Pulido is a therapist in training from Hope International University. She is in her third year at Hope’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. Becoming a therapist is a second career for Gladys – before beginning her graduate studies, she spent years working in public social services, in both client-facing roles and positions of leadership.

As a therapist in training with a systemic lens, Gladys approaches her work from the understanding that none of us grow or change in isolation. We are shaped by the systems we belong to – our families, our communities, and our relationships – and those relations play an active role in how we relate to ourselves and others. Working with Gladys means you will have a chance to explore what you’re going through while also considering the relationships, experiences, and environments that have shaped you along the way. Gladys works with individuals, couples, and families, and is passionate about helping people grow, change, and heal.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish and has a particular interest in ways identity evolves across lives, including experiences related to sexuality, culture, faith, relationships, and aging. She welcomes clients navigating questions about who they are, how they relate to others, and what feels meaningful in their relationships with themselves and others.
