Eduardo Salas
Student Therapist
If you are here, something probably is not working. You may not be looking for someone to tell you what is wrong with you. Often, people already sense that something feels off but cannot sort through it alone. That is not a personal failing. Some challenges are simply difficult to see clearly when you are inside them.
Before beginning graduate training, Eduardo spent several years working in substance use treatment in Los Angeles. He worked closely with individuals in crisis and learned that meaningful change happens when people are met where they are, not where they are expected to be. That experience continues to shape his approach to therapy.
Eduardo focuses on helping clients manage intense emotions, build healthy relationships without losing themselves, and rebuild their sense of identity after difficult life transitions. His style is warm but direct. He values clarity, practical tools, and honest conversations. Clients can expect collaboration, thoughtful challenge when appropriate, and sessions that leave them with something concrete to reflect on or practice.
Outside of the therapy room, Eduardo enjoys ceramics, cooking, and exploring new hobbies. Creativity and the process of trying, learning, and growing inform how he approaches therapeutic work as well.
Eduardo is completing his clinical training at CCS Education and Wellness under the supervision of Leann Galoustian, LCSW 17635.
